Our Enrolment Process
Start the enrolment process in a few simple steps
We aim to make enrolment simple and transparent for all families. If you wish to apply for a place, you can request an application form by calling into our centre, phoning 021-4392300, or emailing us: thefamilycentre2020@gmail.com

Eligibility & Place Offers
Places are normally offered in April
for the following September.
Age requirements:
Creche: Child must be 2 years old by September
Preschool: Child must be 2 years 8 months by September

Visit Our Service
If a place is offered, parents are invited to visit the centre – either during an Open Day or through a one-to-one appointment with our staff.

Confirm Enrolment
Parents complete the Child’s Record Form and provide a copy of their child’s immunisation record before the start date.

Our Small Outdoor Area
Yellow Room - Preschool - Capacity for 22 children. Adjoining toilet facilities and a dedicated storage room. Features a covered outdoor decking area. Provides access to a large outdoor space.
Blue Room - Preschool - Suitable for 18 children. Connected to a toilet and nappy-changing area. Leads to a back room and a small outdoor area. Located next to the Sensory Room.

A huge thank you to Noel and the lads at little to large pergolas for the fantastic job they did building our new covered pergola. This wonderful addition means that children can engage in outdoor experiences in all weathers. 😊

Thank you to all who donated to the Laura Lynn pyjama day fundraiser today . The children had a great morning . The blue room took a trip to the library in their pjs and had so much fun and all the children got pancakes and hot chocolate from Pawel as a treat 😊

Would you like to join our busy friendly early years service and become part of our team in making a difference in children's lives. Sign up for our upcoming 8-week Circle of Security Parenting programme

The programme will take place at Cork Foyer, Assumption Road, Blackpool T23FDT4;
beginning Tuesday the 24th of February at 10am to 12.
This programme helps parents understand what their child needs emotionally, especially during big feelings or challenging moments.
Parents will learn simple strategies to build strong, secure relationships using short videos, group discussion, and practical examples.
The programme is delivered in a supportive, respectful, and non-judgemental way.
